Hob Knob

My family recently had the pleasure of staying at this fabulous boutique hotel in Edgartown, Martha's Vineyard. Jackson aka 'Jonathan' (inside joke), had us at "hello". He truly embodies phenomenal customer service! An absolute joy to work with - an asset to the Hob Knob! The rooms and linen were clean and fresh. Attention is paid to every detail! It felt like being at a ' home away from home'. The kitchen staff were extremely polite, friendly and accommodating. While there are other options for accommodation, following our experience, we are sticking with Hob Knob Boutique Hotel on our next visit!

We spent five wonderful nights here! Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. We began by calling to reserve our rooms and talking to Jackson. He was our best friend from that moment forward! He chatted with us in the evenings, told us places to go and see and how to navigate the island. He was genuinely interested in our day, what we did and if there was anything else we should see. I would stay there again just because of Jackson! But there was more! The ladies who cooked our breakfast every morning were so kind and the breakfasts were great! The best scones I’ve ever had and the cookies! Everyday homemade cookies! Perfectly located a block or two from the hustle and bustle with restaurants galore. Do yourself a favor and stay here if you’re ever on Martha’s Vineyard!

We felt so welcome throughout our stay at Hob Nob in Edgartown. Our elegant room was cozy and had so many nice touches. We enjoyed made-to-order breakfasts in their lovely dining room, and especially appreciated Hob Nob's location on Main Street - walking distance to the beach and harbor. Highly recommend!

Got engaged and the staff scattered flowers I had delivered and did a wonderful job making our day perfect! The rooms are so clean, and quiet. The breakfast is amazing. I love this place! Hob Knob is officially our go-to when visiting Edgartown!! Abby and her team are simply amazing

As a year-round islander, I’ve stayed at the Hob Knob multiple times through the years and it’s a true gem. Abby, the spectacular GM, sets the tone with warm, professional service from the moment you arrive. The location is perfect: an easy walk to Edgartown’s shops, galleries, and harbor, yet it still feels like a peaceful retreat. Breakfast is excellent, afternoon tea is a delight, and the overall vibe is effortlessly elegant. Beautiful rooms, thoughtful details, and a team that genuinely cares keep me coming back!

Hob Knob has become my second home whenever I visit Martha’s Vineyard. I have stayed here several times and each time has been sheer perfection. Everything from Abby (the cheerful, ultra accommodating and helpful Inn Keeper/Manager) to the cozy/charming /comfy/clean rooms, to the perfect location, to the delicious breakfasts (I dream of those scones!) , to the relaxing nooks and crannies throughout the inn where you can read, sip coffee ( or wine) throughout the day and unwind. The only reason I didn’t give service 5 stars is that my breakfast orders were never quite right ( there appeared to be a language barrier with the dining room server taking our order) but the meals were so delicious that I ate whatever was presented to me even if my order wasn’t correct and I didn’t complain. But if you have allergies or really dislike a certain ingredient, please be very very careful when ordering and check your food before you dig in. I dislike peppers. Every morning I asked for no peppers in my veggie omelette ( or burrito). Every morning I got them anyway in my eggs. But everyone is so friendly and lovely, I simply pushed them aside and enjoyed my meal. Other than that, every other aspect of the service at Hob Knob is top notch. I look forward to going back many, many more times.

We spent four days at the Hob Nob: two during a biking trip we were on, and two more additional nights after our biking trip concluded. I can't recommend the Hob Nob enough. From the moment we arrived, the management team, Abby and Jackson, went out of their way to make our stay an incredible experience. They both were engaging and wonderfully helpful throughout our stay. This quaint luxury boutique hotel functions as an upgraded B&B with quiet sitting and conversation areas and a private, exclusive outdoor area. Breakfast there is exceptional, and the small kitchen staff brings an incredible level of care and personal service. The hotel is within walking distance of downtown and the waterfront, with a number of quality dining experiences close by. The next time we are in MV, we will absolutely be staying at the Hob Nob.
